Classification note: This establishes that the article was submitted and considered during patent prosecution. It does not establish that the patent was based on the article or that the article influenced the invention, contributed to it, or received Microsoft endorsement.

Three Microsoft practitioners independently recommended my A Journey from VMware NSX-T to Azure Stack SDN series. Kyle Bisnett called it an “excellent blog series,” thanked me for the partnership, and promoted The Edge. Principal Program Manager Lead Anirban Paul called the series a “great read” for customers considering a VMware-to-Azure Stack HCI transition. Senior Program Manager Michael Godfrey highlighted how the work shows Azure Stack HCI supporting on-premises infrastructure during a cloud transition.

Why it matters: These are direct, customer-oriented recommendations from Microsoft SDN specialists. They strengthen the public record for Azure Local (then Azure Stack HCI), SDN, NSX, and multicloud transition architecture.
Independent verification: Microsoft identifies Bisnett and Paul as members of its SDN team in the Windows Server Summit program, and Microsoft Learn separately features Godfrey presenting Azure Stack HCI and Arc Resource Bridge guidance. These were original practitioner recommendations with evaluative language, not automated advocacy reposts or an official Microsoft corporate endorsement.
