Cannot edit an existing shared dashboard workaround in vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) 8.0

This will be a quick article since it is really easy.  I have had someone reach out to me recently after explaining to them how to copy and paste widgets.  They do not have admin access and informed me that there was a shared dashboard they wanted to edit to perform the copy job from.  Here is a step by step workaround for not having admin access but wanting to edit a shared dashboard.

As you can see it is owned by admin and is shared, which means you cannot edit

The new dashboard has been created and it belongs to you and isn’t shared

You now click edit

Congrats you can now edit the dashboard

Summary:
I told you it was rather simple work around.  Now you can feel free to delete, edit, or copy any widgets from the now cloned dashboard.  I hope y’all find this workaround useful.
